Since 2002, this estate on the island of Evia has been producing a diverse line of wines, from aromatic, mineral driven whites to full body expressive reds. It is however, the immense line of Syrah offerings, that has put this winery on the wine map of Europe. From high alltitude, low yield vines come some of the best Syrah grapes in all of Greece. Winemaker Apostolos Mountrichas is crafting Syrah wines that can easily compete with their counterparts from the Rhone Valley, Washington State or Australia.
Annual production: 400,000 bottles from 20 hectares.
