The winery is situated in the area of Nemea, in the Peloponesse, just a an hour and a half west of Athens. French educated Panos Lantides started his venture in 1993 by purchasing the land and in 2000 he established his winery. Some of his blocks are situated in the high elevation area of Asprocambos (high Nemea). High density planting, as well as extreme temperature variation (day-night), result in fruit driven dense red wines. Although the Agiorgitiko grape is king in the area, Lantides grows French varietals as well, and many of his offerings are blends, giving his portfolio an international aspect.
