The brain child of Ted Manousakis, this winery is situated in the western area of Crete, not far from the town of Chania. The focus here is on French varietals from the area of Rhone, such as Grenache Noir, Rousanne, Syrah, and Mouvedre. In the pursuit of perfection the winery consults with Laurence Feraud (Domaine Pegau). Manousakis may have an affinity for French style wine, but his roots are in Crete so he is focused on the local grape varietals such as Vidiano, Vilana and Muscat of Spinas, as well. He also practices organic farming.
