This indigenous grape of the area of Mantinia in central Peloponnese usually produces beautiful aromatic white wines. However, its skin has a pink-puple color, capable of producing lovely rose versions. This one is very aromatic, and inviting, fermented in stainless steel tanks. The palate is dominated by red berries and herbs. Its medium acidity leads to a beautiful finish with citrus overtones. Great sipping wine, will do well with salads, soft cheese, chicken or pork chops.
