The winery is situated in the Northeastern area of Greece, near the town of Xanthi. It was established by Nikos Vourvoukelis who passed away in 2014. Today, his sons Odysseas and Giorgos, continue the tradition of fine winemaking. The vineyards are organically farmed and include local indigenous grapes as well as French varietals. Painstaking work takes place in identifying, understanding some of the local varietals ( Pamidi, and Zoumiatiko), and actually grafting them. The resulting wines are very expressive, well made, unique, with a sense of place.
10 hectares (25 acres). 150,000 bottles.
