The region of Nemea, in the Peloponesse is synonymous to the Agiorgitiko (St George) grape. Bairaktaris winery, located near the entrance of the town on Nemea, is a small, family operation, established in 2005, that is dedicated to the production of high end wines, produced from superior quality grapes, cultivated in a sustainable manner without the use of chemicals. Vineyards are located on high elevation (mostly over 800 meters/ 2,600feet), in the area of Koutsi. First planted in 1967, the vineyard’s yields are low, producing wonderful Agiorgitiko wines, full of aromas, balanced acidity and silky tannins. Annual Production: 15 Hectares (37 acres)
