Situated in Central Greece, two and a half hours north of Athens, this is a true gem. Owner Kyros Melas spared no expense in creating a "garagiste" operation. The privately owned vineyard was established in 2000. The focus here is on French varietals and techniques. Yields are kept low in the high density vineyard. From the Bordeaux inspired flagship red, to the Provence styled rose, a wine collector would have a hard time seeing and tasting the difference. Kyros frequently blind tastes his wines against the best of France and the results surprise many oenophiles. Annual Production: 100,000 bottles from 3.2 hectares.
